This is a very practical use of the digital picture frames that have come out in the past couple of years. I took the video from my phone at one of my client's offices in downtown Fort Worth.

The New Dynamic Architecture
Ok, I've seen some pretty cool architectural ideas but this is awesome. The first one to be built is in Dubai.
At the 4:00 minute mark it talks about how it produces its own energy... at the 4:58 mark it shows how the building is produced/assembled reducing the amount of onsite workers from 2000 to only 90, and the building time from 30 to 18 months!
This is great.

The New Cold War
It appears that it's on again... Last night on C-Span I watched an interview of Edward Lucas, British correspondent for the Economist magazine. It was fascinating. It appears that Putin, Medvedev and Russia itself are no longer allies of the West and of liberty.
Very interesting 10 minute read here should give everyone a general idea of current affairs with Russia. I tried to find a video of what I saw last night but to no avail. Here's the next time it will air.

Traffic Systems
I'm fascinated with systems of traffic, transportation, etc. specifically regarding the psychology (micro/personal) and the sociology (macro/social) aspects of it all... I found this today and loved it. I experience the 'shockwaves' in traffic. The sad thing is that I don't think that any one person can make a positive substantive difference but the only way for this to fix itself is for everyone to personally make the right choices. In this experiment no person is an island and anyone's bad choice/mistake affects everyone else.
